Social Media & Content Specialist
Job Description
Fragomen, the world's leading provider of legal and professional immigration services, seeks a Social Media & Content Specialist to join the firm's Communications team. This position will play a key role in developing and implementing Fragomen's social media strategy and handle all social media-related aspects of the firm's visibility initiatives. The person in this role will help handle day-to-day social media activities, including creating consistent, meaningful content on all social media platforms while managing a high volume of daily posts.
This position is a key part of the firm's Marketing and Business Development department, reporting to the Senior Manager of Communications and PR and working closely with the Communications Manager and PR Specialist.
This is not an entry-level position and requires 2-4 years of professional experience managing social media communications.

As a Social Media & Content Specialist you will:
- Help develop and implement the firm's social media strategy.
- Enhance Fragomen's social media presence across multiple channels by creating/writing interesting, original and creative content about the firm, its experience and its people.
- Draft website and social media copy for awards, events, firm gatherings, blogs and more.
- Handle posting of all firm social media content using individual platforms and our social media management tool, Brandwatch.
- Manage, in collaboration with other communications team members, the communications editorial calendar of content, handling changes and adjustments as needed for maximum visibility of content across channels.
- Monitor social media channels and campaigns and conduct competitor analysis as needed and appropriate.
- Review analytics and adjust social media strategy and tactics as needed based on research surrounding current social media trends and best practices.
- Work with the Senior Manager of Communications and PR on best practices to ensure we are leveraging Fragomen's content in new and creative ways.
- Compile weekly roundup of firm news and events using our email marketing tool, Marketo.
- Manage the firm's social media email inbox, replying to queries from individuals in any of the firm's 60+ offices regarding social media content and best practices.
- Create social media campaigns around high impact content and events, including paid opportunities.
- Collaborate with other teams across the Marketing and Business Development department, including digital marketing, business development, events, and visual development to maximize social media impact as needed and to ensure brand consistency.
Let's talk if you have the following:
- Bachelor's degree in communications, social media/social media marketing, journalism or related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in a social media-centric role with a law firm, professional services firm or PR agency. (This is not an entry level position)
- Well-versed in the use of social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
- Proven experience in social media, including the strategic and tactical development of content and campaign management.
- Understand the need for frequent research and reassessment of social media trends and best practices and use of new, emerging platforms.
- Ability to work well under pressure across various constituencies in a confident and professional manner.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail with high levels of responsiveness.
- Adept at writing and editing social media posts and related copy.
- Strong time-management skills and ability to meet changing deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and with others.
- Experience with one or more major social media management tools and listening and measurement platforms a plus.
- This position can be remote in the Eastern Time zone, or hybrid in any East Coast Fragomen office.
