Each season, Club Monaco offers customers must have fashion and key pieces that together are the foundation of a modern wardrobe.
Club Monaco was recently acquired by Regent, LP, a leading private equity firm based in Beverly Hills.
This is a full-time role, based 3 days a week in our midtown Manhattan office and 2 days from home.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Editorial Director on strategy, planning, and execution of brand marketing initiatives across social media channels through content storytelling, to ensure a consistent brand message, increase brand awareness, grow audience, and drive engagement.
- Proven ability to translate business objectives and strategies into creative concepts across a variety of objectives (awareness, traffic, sales, etc.)
- Build and maintain social calendar to promote products, events, and brand initiatives in alignment with overarching brand strategy.
- Experience with new and existing social media platforms and a technical understanding of how to generate community growth, awareness, and engagement.
- Engage with Club Monaco’s communities through authentic conversations and ensure brand-related questions, comments, and opportunities are addressed with speed, good judgment, and in alignment with the brand voice.Â
- Manage daily posts and community engagement.
- Monitor global news, current events, and cultural conversations and how they relate to and effect brand social channels and content.
- Collaborate with photographers, talent, and influencers, developing detailed creative briefs to deliver original, social-first content that amplifies brand storytelling campaigns in a brand-right aesthetic.
- Cultivate relationships with and manage outreach to tastemakers and opinion leaders to cultivate brand ambassadors, expand community of advocates, and secure brand-enhancing coverage
- Partner closely with in-house Creative Services team to drive social asset creation in a brand enhancing and socially compelling way.
- Work quickly and in sync with Club Monaco’s Design, Editorial, and Creative Services teams to carry our voice throughout all social platforms through posting, engagement, and asset creation. Â
- Work with international licensed partners and wholesale partners leveraging their networks to amplify our brand story in a consistent and brand right way.
- Define metrics and KPIs to measure the success and impact of social efforts across channels, continuously improving performance through analysis and insights.
- Create recap reports on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis to be shared with Senior Leadership team.
- Monitor and forecast digital trends, best practices, emerging technologies, and risks, as well as assess competitors and make recommendations.
- Ability to be strategic and tactical
- Able to both identify problems and propose solutions to them, as well as take direction and communicate efficiently with a small, fast-paced team
- Facilitate and track annual social media budget
Skills and Requirements
- At least 3 years work experience in the digital space with a solid understanding of and active engagement with social media platforms (i.e. Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, Twitter, etc.; broad experience including brand identity, art direction, content strategy and development, video and social media preferred
- Well-versed in digital media and social media metrics and monitoring tools
- Working knowledge of fashion/high aesthetic taste level
- Ability to strategize, present, and build out campaigns and new ideas
- Resourceful self-starter, with a can-do attitude that thrives in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment; ability to work independently and manage projects from inception to completion with accountability for goal setting and results.
- Strong planning, project management and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a high-pressure, deadline-oriented environment, handling multiple projects and priorities.
- Flexibility to travel, work offsite, outside of regular business and help plan for and attend events and activations
- Strategic thinker willing to push the envelope and bring fresh, innovative ideas to life
- A natural ability to collaborate well with others across the organization and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortability working with Executive leadership
- Excellent English communication: verbal and written
- Excellent time management/project skills
- Ability to recognize and react to changing work demands
- Comfortable and confident in making effective decisions in a timely manner
