The Role:
Medely is seeking an experienced Social Media Coordinator to join our Marketing Team. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this role will be integral to how Medely engages and interacts with our customers and healthcare professionals. You will be working cross-functionally with members of the marketing team and other departments on creating and posting social media content, responding to reviews and comments, and identifying trends and tactics across social platforms to improve engagement. The ideal candidate for this position is a skilled multi-tasker with the capability to operate across multiple disciplines, stay organized, and meet deadlines.Â
What you'll do:
Be responsible for the day-to-day operations of Medely’s social media platforms (including Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn)
Partner with Director of Content to plan and execute a social media strategy and content calendarÂ
Help develop and implement Medely’s brand voice across all social media channels
Optimize engagement, reach, and conversions through implementation of product, content, demand gen initiatives across social mediaÂ
Monitor and respond to social media comments and messages throughout all platforms
Track and respond to customer reviews across review sites like Google My Business
Ideate and implement social media initiatives for product launches and new initiatives
Produce, edit, and create various forms of social media content—text, videos, images, news—suitable for various social media platforms
Set specific objectives and report on key metrics
What you'll need to have:
1-3 years of experience as a social media lead for a B2B SaaS companyÂ
Mastery of the best use practices for social media platforms Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and Twitter.
Experience working with photography and videography for use in social postsÂ
Knowledge of social media trends, hashtags, and engagement strategy
Experience with creative tools for video and image editing like Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Premiere Pro, Canva, and other equivalent editing software platforms
Understanding of current technologies and trends in social media
Proven experience in creating engaging content for various social media channels
Ability to incorporate our brand voice and identity in social media content
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Startup experience and/or public company experience is a plus
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Calm under pressure, moves quickly, ability to work with unknowns
Working knowledge of social media management tools like Hootsuite or SOCi.Â
