Social Media Intern

Newchip is a startup accelerator that provides world-changing early-stage companies with the software tools, training, mentorship, and the investor network necessary to successfully raise capital, build and scale their business to eventually exit. We're in 100+ countries and have a portfolio of over 2,000 startups that have raised $1B+ in funding since our launch in 2019.

We are looking for a talented Social Media Intern to create and maintain a strong online presence for our company. Your role is to implement online marketing strategies through social media accounts. If you are a tech-savvy professional with an itnerest in communicating with clients through online channels, we would like to meet you.

As a Social Media Intern, you will develop original content and suggest creative ways to attract more customers and promote our brand. You will work hand-in-hand with Newchip's creative team which includes our Video Production team, Copywriting team and Creative Design team.

Requirements

Core Responsibilities:

• Social media creation, scheduling and account management (Linkedin, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Tik-Tok)
• Ability to create compelling and creative stories
• Engage with audience/viewers
• Research, learn and understand key competitors and their business strategies
• Excellent communication skills
• Work cross-departmentally to deliver marketing collateral.
• Hit performance based metrics for growth on each major social media platform.
• Help launch and manage new social media campaigns and build Newchip's presence on various social media platforms

Role Requirements:

• Must currently be a senior student at a 4 year college or university prepared to graduate
• Must be active and savvy with social media platforms, or have strong working knowledge of Linkedin, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Youtube, and TikTok
• Proficient in MS office
• Ability to multitask
• Growth oriented mentality
• Experience with Canva

Preferred:

• Advertising, Communications, or Public Relations major

• Video content experience
