The Role:
Mighty is hiring a Social Media Intern to join our team for the 2022-2023 year. We’re looking for someone who’s excited to bring lots of creativity to our growing team as we spread the word about our consumer service offering. You’ll get the opportunity to collaborate cross-functionally with various teams across Mighty and work with the CEO on building out his social media presence.Â
This role will be based in our Flatiron office in NYC and will require an in-office schedule with some availability roughly 3 days/week (15-20 hours per week minimum).Â
Your Mandate:
- Trend-spot and brainstorm new ideas to create viral content and take the lead with our social media strategyÂ
- Brainstorm, pitch, and write daily social media content that encompasses our brand across TikTok, Instagram, Memes, LinkedIn, etc.Â
- Nurture our social audience through community engagement, rapid response, and audience outreach
- Assist the CEO while he develops his brand through creative TikTok posts, engaging Twitter threads, and thoughtful LinkedIn pieces
Your Experience:
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing or a related fieldÂ
- Experience managing Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Tiktok and Linkedin for a brand, an organization, or a clubÂ
- Strong video editing skills, preferably with TikTok and Youtube
- Basic understanding of social media analyticsÂ
- Strong creative writing skills for various forms of contentÂ
- Great organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyÂ
Interview Plan:
- A 15 minute intro call with Weronika, the TA Manager, to discuss the role and your experience
- Take home assessment to review your trend-spotting capabilities and TikTok skills
- Interview with the CEO, Joshua SchwadronÂ
Hourly Rate: $25-30/hour
