Social Media Intern – Summer 2023

As a Social Media Intern within the Marketing & Communications team, you will work with individuals across the organization to help advance IEX's brand presence. This is a cross-functional opportunity where you will be able to leverage both your qualitative and quantitative skills to help IEX set new standards and raise the bar for performance, fairness, and transparency.

As an intern, you will help build and execute the social media strategy across the IEX brands. This included developing content, executing social media tactics, providing insights and learnings as well as managing the social content calendar.

No prior finance experience is necessary - just an appetite to dive deep into data, manage deadlines and be creative!

What you'll do:

• Help to develop the social media campaign strategy with the marketing partners and corporate communication team across the organization to build and launch social media campaigns
• Create and manage social media posts for both organic and paid media channels
• Work closely with the team on understanding social media metrics to improve and optimize performance
• Create meaningful content that can be used across social media channels to effectively communicate with customers and prospects

Your background:

• Undergraduate working towards a degree in Business, Marketing or Communications
• Familiarity with social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter
• Experience working with different levels of data across digital platforms
• Ability to manage differing priorities and expectations while maintain strong working relationships both internally and externally
