Social Media Intern (Fall 2023)

As a Social Media Intern, you will work alongside our social media team to bring the Poshmark brand to life on key social channels. This role will focus on engaging and growing our social communities through channels like TikTok and Pinterest, sourcing trends and ownable moments, as well as creating and curating content. #LI-Remote
What You’ll Do:
- Create, schedule, & publish social posts: Coordinate social posts across channels including but not limited to TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, and more
- Monitor and engage with our followers and brand fans by responding to comments, questions, and DMs across platforms
- Support content development by conceptualizing and creating compelling content for core and emerging channels
- Identify social media trends that are developing and where Poshmark can have a voice/ownable moment
- Assist in creating social media performance reports
Who You Are:
- Current college student majoring in business, marketing, journalism, advertising, public relations, or a communications-related field
- A passion for social media marketing beyond personal social media usage
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and channel trends with a focus on TikTok but also including Pinterest, Instagram, Twitter, and FacebookÂ
- Excellent attention to detail and a high motivation to learn
- Experience in Photoshop or Canva, basic graphic design skills a plus
- Experience in working with Google Suite
- Great written and verbal communication skills
Expected hourly rate: $35/hour
