Job Summary
The primary responsibilities of the Social Media Manager include developing and executing eMoney's social media strategy, serving as the eyes, ears, and voice of the company on social channels, including LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and Instagram. Reporting to the Director, Corporate Communications, this role partners closely with the Demand Generation, Content, Creative, and Product Marketing teams to help strengthen eMoney's brand voice and awareness.

The salary range for this position is $73,000 - $95,000; commensurate salary to be determined based on skills, professional background and expertise. This position is also eligible, pursuant to applicable eMoney policies, for the annual bonus program, retirement contributions, health insurance, sick leave, parental leave and paid time off.

Reporting to the Director, Corporate Communications, this role partners closely with the Demand Generation, Content, Creative, and Product Marketing teams to help strengthen eMoney's brand voice and awareness.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop creative social content that strengthens eMoney's brand, facilitates engagement with followers, and drives traffic to eMoney's website, blog and lead-generating sources.
- Produce and manage a social media editorial calendar that aligns with company news, campaigns and product launches, in addition to relevant industry months, cultural celebrations, and other timely events.
- Oversee social media posts and activity for eMoney's leadership team, including developing content and monitoring engagement
- Establish goals and metrics for success for eMoney's social channels and share regular reporting
- Work cross-functionally with colleagues in corporate communications, content, product marketing, demand generation, events, creative and other teams to create content that supports ongoing business objectives, marketing campaigns and thought leadership
- Assess up-and-coming social media platforms and identify opportunities for eMoney to experiment with new content types and audiences
- Conduct active social listening across social media networks and relay relevant eMoney mentions to the appropriate teams
- Own social response strategy, working with corporate communications and client services teams to respond to comments and client inquiries
- Create social media program for eMoney employees to increase their activity
- Ensure all social media channels adhere to brand standards and are up-to-date visually
- Elevate eMoney's social presence and develop a personality that is true to the eMoney brand
- Establish eMoney social channel(s) as a "must follow" in the industry
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing or related field
- 6+ years of experience in social media and/or marketing
- Ability to monitor social media channels outside of traditional working hours
Skills
- Passion for creating content and staying up to date with social media platforms and trends
- Excellent writer and creator with experience developing effective, engaging multimedia content for diverse audiences
- Solid analytical skills with an ability to create and measure benchmarks for success
- Ability to work with cross functional teams to achieve collective goals
- Strong communicator with ability to tactfully educate, inform and share feedback
- Ability to respond real time to social comments and take advantage of hot topics and current events while simultaneously developing longer-term plans to align with business needs
- Well-organized with attention to detail
- Creative spirit with desire to experiment, learn and make data-informed decisions.
