About You
You can’t get enough of sports in general! Someone dropped 50 points in the NBA last night…yeah, you already commented on the post on Twitter. Joe Burrow led an amazing comeback and threw 3 touchdowns…you were watching it on Red Zone. The ideal candidate for this position is already invested in the major sports leagues and has a passion for engaging with and creating content. You are witty, creative and savvy with social already and know how to tell a story in creative ways. And most importantly, you are detail oriented and proactive.Â
Role and Responsibilities
•Create and manage social media content across several brands and platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok.
oBrands Include: Fanatics Authentic, Fans Edge, Fanatics Auctions, Steiner Sports, Sportsmemorabilia.com
•Develop and maintain social content calendar.
•Interact with other social handles via commentary, reposts, etc.Â
•Comfortable working nights and weekends when necessary.
•Work with marketing team on release calendars to support upcoming initiatives, product drops, etc.Â
•Collaborate with graphic designers and video editor for content briefs and new ideas for engaging content.
•Create content via available apps and software when necessary to capitalize on speed to market.
•Work closely with the main Fanatics handle and other internal partners for cross-promotional support.Â
•Coordinate with our athlete relations team or other internal partners to capture athlete or event related content.Â
•Support our content and events team in executing on-site social capture including thematic questions, testimonials, etc.Â
•Monitor social media trends and make recommendations for quick-turn creative and ongoing strategy or opportunities.Â
•Analyze performance and share learnings to improve performance against KPIs.
Qualifications and Requirements
•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in similar field.Â
•3+ years of experience working in social media.Â
•Proficiency in best practices and publishing tools for Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok and YouTube.
•Work well under pressure.Â
•Ability to multi-task and be extremely organized.Â
•Proven ability to work across a diverse organization and drive results through a cross-functional team environment.
•Strong interpersonal skills; excellent written, verbal and listening communication abilities.
•Passionate about sports, pop culture, and fan interaction.Â
