The Position:
We are looking for a Social Media Manager to join our growing Marketing team. In this role, you will work collaboratively with the team to develop our social media strategy, social media calendar, and roadmap across all of our platforms. This individual will partner with the content team on content development, consumer engagement and brand tone and voice. You will set clear KPIs for social media campaigns that ladder into the greater Go-to-Market strategy. The position will be a public representative of the GameChanger brand and must be protective of its consistently positive positioning.Â
What You'll Do:

Assist the Senior Comms Lead in establishing a social media strategy and KPIs across all platforms, focusing primarily on but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, YoutTube, TikTok and X.Â

Create content calendars and social media road map, align and communicate plans with full Go-to_Market team (e.g. partnerships, marketing design, product marketing) and cross-functional partners (CX, product, engineering, legal), as well as DICK’S Sporting Goods social media and PR teams.Â

Work with the content team on creation of social media content and post social media content, including use of video and graphics and management of social posting softwareÂ

Monitor social media performance analytics; create and share performance reporting on a weekly and monthly basis. Coordinate performance analysis and optimization improvements with paid media agencies where applicable.Â

Respond and engage with the social media community on a frequent (3-5x per day) and on-going basis to foster engagement and build an identity as a social-forward brand.Â
Who You Are:

Proven experience (3-5+ years) as a social media manager or a related field.

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.Â

Demonstrated success in developing and implementing effective social media strategies.Â

In-depth knowledge of and hands-on experience with major social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Pinterest.Â

Strong understanding of content creation, curation, and storytelling.Â

Proficiency in graphic design tools and basic knowledge of video editing.Â

Ability to manage and respond to social media comments, messages, and inquiries.

Familiarity with social media analytics tools to measure and analyze the performance of campaigns.Â

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work cross-functionally across multiple teams and organizations

Experience working in a start-up to scale environment

Previous SaaS experience in both B2B and B2C preferred

The target salary range for this position is between $110,000 and $130,000. This is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes incentive, equity, and benefits for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all teammate pay regularly to ensure competitive and fair pay.
GameChanger (a subsidiary of DICK’S Sporting Goods) has company-wide practices to monitor and protect the company from significant compliance and monetary implications as it pertains to employer state tax liabilities. Due to said guidelines put in place, we are unable to hire in AK, DE, HI, IA, LA, MS, MT, OK, and SC.
Compensation Range: $110K - $130K
