Social Media Manager

The Role
First and foremost, the role requires someone who can write. You know, really write. A world-class storyteller. An exceptional copywriter. An intelligent wordsmith. Someone who has a passion for truly exceptional marketing, and understands that words are everything.
Second, a passion to make and create content that really works on social. People want content they can consume where they are. Lazy linking doesn't work anymore. We want someone who finds art in every post. You'll be excited to turn blog articles into carousels for LinkedIn, transform eBooks into Twitter threads and reimagine videos as Instagram reels.
Thirdly, a love for genuine collaboration. Social at Celonis is a team sport. You'll be someone who gets energy from daily brainstorming calls with our tight-knit social team, and love working with wider creative teams from design, video, and more. Receptive to feedback, keen to share and build ideas, we believe a spirit of candor is the key to creating magic.

The Work You'll Do
Social Creative
Our best-performing social posts have one thing in common: carefully crafted words alongside beautiful creative. You'll lead this. Crafting copy that tells stories in our tone of voice and collaborating with our design and video teams to post world-class creative.
Social Publishing & Listening
Post. Learn. Listen. These are the fundamentals of the day in this role. You'll publish our posts, take a healthy obsession in learning why some work, and some don't, and help us to build a community by monitoring and responding to comments and mentions.
Employee Advocacy
The Celonis LinkedIn account has 180,000 followers. Across our 3,000+ employees, we have over 2.6 million connections. We're good at advocacy, but we want to be the best. You'll own the program, champion the cause, and help grow something special.
LinkedIn Newsletter
There are over 40,000 LinkedIn Newsletters in circulation. As we approach the 200k follower milestone, it's time for Celonis to enter the fray. You'll lead this program, responsible for the brand, content strategy, and publication. 'The Process' is coming.
YouTube Channel
Video is just about the most powerful marketing tool there is. And YouTube is the home of that tool. Our YouTube Channel has over 100 videos already and you'll be responsible for curating more content for the channel and helping to grow our subscriber base.
The Skills You'll Need
Experience
5+ years of experience in copywriting and B2B content marketing
Self-Starter
Experience creating and executing successful content strategies alone and with teams.
Copywriting
A diverse portfolio of writing samples for social in short to medium form. Proven ability to grasp complex concepts and convert them into clear, consumable prose.
Collaboration
Strong communication, project management, and relationship management skills. Experience working with creative teams, including briefing, editing and reviewing
Technology
Strong understanding of managing content on LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram and used to working with social media publishing and monitoring tools.
The base salary range below is for the role in the specified location, based on a Full Time Schedule.
Total compensation package will include base salary + bonus/commission + equity + benefits (health, dental, life, 401k, and paid time off). Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and that the actual total compensation offer will be determined based on various factors, including, but not limited to, applicant's qualifications, skills, experiences, and location.
The base salary range below is for the role in New York, based on a Full Time Schedule.
$81,000 - $135,000 USD
