Meet Your Future Neighbors

As a Social Media Manager at Nextdoor, you will manage the brand’s social media identity and execute on its strategy, oversee day-to-day posting on Nextdoor’s social media channels, and monitor analytics and performance across Nextdoor’s social media channels. In this role, you’ll help define the most important social media KPIs and take measurable action to achieve them as you work cross-functionally to shape the future of Nextdoor’s social media strategy as we continue to grow.

Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Posting content across Nextdoor’s social media channels, including LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
  • Creating written and visual content across several social media platforms
  • Managing a social media content calendar
  • Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), including link clicks, likes, impressions, and follower counts
  • Making recommendations for long-term social media strategy and campaigns based on performance and the latest social media trends
  • Implementing a test and learn approach when posting on social media platforms
  • Drive creation of social media content that supports broader marketing calendars, brand news, and product announcements
  • Collaborating with internal teams and external partners on brand campaigns and activations
What You’ll Bring To The Team
  • 5+ years demonstrated working in social media management or similar role and/or the ability to perform at a proficient level in the domain
  • Knowledge of LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, and other social media best practices
  • Organized with strong ability to multitask
  • Strong writing skills
  • Ability to communicate a variety of messages while adhering to brand guidelines
Rewards

Compensation, benefits, perks, and recognition programs at Nextdoor come together to create one overall rewards package.

The starting salary for this role is expected to range from $76,000 to $120,000 on an annualized basis, or potentially greater in the event that your 'level' of proficiency exceeds the level expected for the role. Compensation may also vary by geography.

We also expect to award a meaningful equity grant for this role. With equal quarterly vesting, your first vest date would be within the first 3 months of your start date.

Overall, total compensation will vary depending on your relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
