Social Media Manager 

Massive Bio is a rapidly growing health-tech startup founded in 2015 to provide every cancer patient with access to clinical trials regardless of their location or financial situation. Our proprietary patient recruitment and enrollment enablement solution for oncology clinical trials solves for every point of friction in traditional clinical trial enrollment. Privately held and headquartered in New York, NY our passionate changemaking team is looking for several new hires for various roles.

We are looking for a Social Media Manager to join our team in our Istanbul, Turkiye office. As a key member of our Marketing department, the Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing our social media strategy to increase brand awareness, engage with our target audience, and drive traffic to our platforms. 

The ideal candidate will be curious, have strong attention to detail, and have a passion for customer success.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager you will, 

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy to align with marketing objectives and company goals. Monthly and annual social media calendar planning and execution. 

  • Hands-on experience in content management to create and curate engaging creative content for various social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Threads, TikTok and YouTube. 

  • Collaboration with 3rd party agencies to produce engaging multimedia content, such as graphics, videos, animations, and infographics, to enhance our social media presence and drive user engagement. 

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Marketing, Design, and Product, to gather content ideas, source assets, and ensure brand consistency across all channels. 

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trending topics, industry news, and content opportunities that can be leveraged for social media campaigns. 

  • Stay abreast of emerging social media trends, platform updates, and algorithm changes to optimize content performance and maximize reach. 

  • Monitor, manage and respond to comments, messages, and mentions on social media platforms, the company website, and blogs in a timely and professional manner, fostering positive interactions, increasing engagement and conversations. 

  • Track social media performance metrics, analyze data insights, and generate regular reports to measure the effectiveness of content strategies and inform future optimization efforts. 

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. 

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in social media management in an international company, and content creation preferably in the healthcare or technology industry. 

  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful social media campaigns that drive engagement and achieve measurable results. 

  • Knowledge of online marketing channels. 

  • Excellent communication skills. 

  • Analytical and multitasking skills. 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content tailored to different platforms and audiences. 

  • Proficiency in social media management tools 

  • Preferably experience in analytics platforms, SEO, keyword research, and Google Analytics. 

  • Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling. 

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously. 

  • Experience in healthcare and medical-related fields is a bonus. 

  • High level of speaking, writing, and understanding proficiency in English. 

  • Living in Istanbul, preferably on the Asian side. 

  • Work location is Kozyatagi, Istanbul; at least 2/3 days a week at the office. 

  • No military obligation for candidates.
