About the Role

As a Social Media & Community Associate, you will report directly to the Senior Creator Marketing Manager and work collaboratively to expand MagicLinks’ creator community. Your primary responsibilities will include managing social media channels, crafting engaging content, and fostering a vibrant online presence. You'll also serve as a community manager, moderating discussions, responding to comments in a timely manner, and actively engaging with like-minded content across our social channels. You'll leverage your creativity, strategic thinking, and analytical skills to create engaging content and effectively manage the community, strengthening our presence across all social platforms.

Responsibilities

CONTENT PLANNING 

  • Plan and execute weekly, monthly, and seasonal social media content aligned with MagicLinks' brand voice.
  • Produce original UGC videos, craft compelling copy, and collaborate with the Creator Partnerships team for content curation and repurposing.
  • Schedule and post content across various social media platforms, ensuring optimal timing for engagement.
  • Tailor content to fit the unique audience and format of each social media channel.

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

  • Engage with the MagicLinks community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions, strengthening relationships and fostering a positive environment.
  • Proactively engage with like-minded content and communities to boost MagicLinks' brand presence and enhance our visibility across social platforms.
  • Identify opportunities to amplify the MagicLinks community across social channels.

INDUSTRY & ANALYTICS

  • Regularly analyze and report on the performance of social media activities to assess the effectiveness of marketing efforts and suggest improvements.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of each social media platform's trends, features, and best practices.  
  • Stay updated with digital content trends and influencer marketing developments.

Background and Specific Skills

  • Background: 2-4 years of experience in social media. A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
  • Social Media Savvy: Demonstrated expertise in social media platforms, content creation, and community engagement, with a clear understanding of social media best practices and trends.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with creators, brand partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in content and messaging.
  • Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines
  • Creative: A natural storyteller and innovative communicator who’s resourceful, scrappy and eager to try new things. 
  • Bonus: Understanding of Affiliate Marketing, experience using project management platforms like Asana and Sprout Social, comfortable being on camera, and a sense of humor that recognizes the importance of "play" in creative work!

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $60,000-75,000; commensurate with location and experience.

Our salary ranges are determined by role and level of experience relevant to the job. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the range for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
