Job Summary:

Prepares marketing communications and programs for various media channels, i.e., social media, print, web, etc. Communicates the company's competitive advantage using a wide range of advertising and communication media to promote the sale of products and services.

Principal Responsibilities:
  • Collaborating and managing influencer programs
  • Work with cross-functional teams to implement other channel-specific campaigns (e.g., YouTube videos, Instagram page development, etc.).
  • Develop strong, impactful social media posts and related web content, contributing to developing a brand voice that engages customers through social media channels.
  • Creating and editing various forms of content across all social media platforms
  • Generate, design, edit, publish, and share creative and compelling content such as social media posts, motion graphics, video, and other communications for the social channels
  • Performs analytics to help determine the effectiveness of our social media efforts
  • Research audience and population trends
  • Collaborating with others on the team to ensure continuity of all social media campaigns
  • Responding to comments, reviews, and questions on all platforms in a timely manner
  • Work proactively to ensure that our company is successfully reaching our audience
  • Ensuring weekly and monthly deadlines are completed for all social media tasks
  • Increase the number of followers on all platforms through developing and executing thoughtful and engaging social media plans.
  • Monitor and reply to posts from our online communities.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, with competing priorities and frequent changes to scope and deliverables.
  • Experience working with global or technology-focused organizations is a plus.
  • Repurpose content from other sources for our social media channels (and understand how to change the tone of the content for each channel).
  • Track key social media analytics monthly, including Google Analytics, Bitly statistics, LinkedIn company, job performance, etc.
  • Analyze and interpret how well specific content performs and determine how to generate new content that does the same or better.
  • May analyzes data, sentiment and trends; makes proactive and strategic recommendations based on data.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Level Specifications:
  • Extensive knowledge and application of principles, theories and concepts. Complete knowledge of all job functions and the broad industry best practices, techniques and standards.
  • Develops solutions to complex problems where analysis of situations and/or data requires in-depth evaluation of variables. Determine best approach to achieve results and provide suggestions to improve policies and procedures.
  • Work is performed independently and requires the exercise of judgment and discretion. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments. Work may be reviewed at a high-level.
  • May represent the organization as a primary contact on assignments and/or projects. Interacts with senior professionals and management and frequently coordinates work between departments or organizations.
  • Actions may impact the organization. Failure to accomplish work will result in the inability to reach crucial organizational goals. Erroneous decisions may have a prolonged effect resulting in the expenditure of substantial resources.

Work Experience:
  • Typically 5+ years with bachelor's or equivalent.
  • Social Media - minimum 5 years' experience in a company or agency atmosphere
  • Outstanding ability to think creatively, identify, and resolve problems.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with all Microsoft office products, Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator, Creative Writing, Proofreading, Editing,
  • An understanding of SEO
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new tools, services, and industry trends

Education and Certification(s):
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained.

Distinguishing Characteristics:
  • The strongest candidate will have proven experience working with influencer programs as well as experience in both organic and paid programs across all social media platforms including but not limited to: LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, Instagram, Reddit and Quora.
  • This candidate needs to have the ability to develop and implement a strategic social media plan, be proactive, detail oriented, and task driven.
  • Experience in other areas of paid digital media is a bonus!
