Social Media Manager (Remote - US)

We are looking for a talented Social Media Manager who will serve as the voice of Clickatell across all social channels. In this role, you be a key leader within the Brand Marketing Group and key collaborator across the extended Marketing organization and other areas of the business.
As the Social Media Manager at Clickatell, you'll develop a deep understanding of our audiences to create campaigns and content that speaks to them. You'll partner closely with our creative and content teams to evolve and define our brand's social tone of voice, then devise campaigns to delight and build brand affinity with our community.
The Social Media Manager must be deadline focused, goal oriented, and have stellar written and verbal communication skills. This role reports to the Vice President, Brand Marketing.
*This is a REMOTE position with the expectation of primarily working US east coast business hours.
Typical Responsibilities:
- Own the strategy and results for all our social media channels such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and Product Hunt; manage and coach the Social Media team to ensure all work is high quality, on-time, and aligned to strategy.
- Create and manage the overall social content calendar across global regions; execute daily publishing, assess and optimize existing social channels, and explore future platforms to invest in if warranted.
- Partner with the rest of the Brand Marketing Group and cross-functional partners to create overarching narrative and key moments throughout the year
- Concept and create 'always on' social posts and social-first campaigns for the in-between moments on our content calendar
- Project manage the necessary content for social channels and establish strong relationships with the Clickatell creative team
- Focus on growing brand awareness to support strategic Clickatell goals
- Promote Clickatell PR news, events, and more to our community
- Drive employee engagement on social channels; evolve our process and programs to get Clickatellians more deeply and consistently involved in our social outreach
Requirements
- 7+ years of combined social media management and content strategy experience (at a B2B SaaS company a big plus)
- 3+ years of people management experience
- Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing OR equivalent relevant work experience
- A demonstrated and detailed knowledge of social platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and Product Hunt) and the type of content that resonates on each
- Experience building and evolving social media strategy for a growth-stage organization. We'd like you to have a POV on how Clickatell can evolve its social media strategy across our platforms and be able to articulate this in the interview process.
- Impressive writing portfolio and writing samples - this means having excellent language and grammar skills, but also knowing when (and how) to break the rules
- High proficiency in martech solutions, specifically, those related to social media such as Hootsuite, Sprout Social, and Rallio
- A desire to learn, grow, and be a part of something bigger;
