Who We Are Looking For:

The Social Media Marketing Specialist works collectively with internal and external collaborators to develop/establish the company's social media strategy for leading national baby brands. Also, responsible for implementing the strategy across all social platforms, driving brand sales, and achieving yearly channel growth as determined by management team.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop/implement strategy for social media channels including Gerber Childrenswear and Onesies brand national baby brands.
  • Manage 3rd party company for all paid social ad efforts for driving B2C sales.
  • Work closely with marketing team and retail account leaders to implement paid ad programs as necessary.
  • Managing all company social media channels / platforms, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, TikTok, Facebook business manager, Facebook ad manager, Dash Hudson.
  • Develop / establish social media metrics to effectively measure performance on all social media networking sites.
  • Assist team members in maintaining social media content calendars and distributing to marketing team on a consistent basis.
  • Work closely with graphic designers and photography team to provide creative assets as needed. 
  • Responsible for designing / implementing all social media graphics / content / ads.
  • Implementing brand sweepstakes (with legal assistance), notifying winners and fulfilling prizes as needed.
  • Handle day-to-day tasks including collaborating with Customer Service as well as responding to customer messages within 24 hours and following up as necessary for resolution.  
  • Identify high-performing organic content that resonates with the Gerber audience, generates follow growth, and/or which could be boosted or leveraged as Paid Social ads.
  • Responsible for implementing / managing new social media collaborations as necessary and complete the necessary training to expand knowledge / grow channels.
  • Stay abreast of new social trends, technologies, networks, metrics, etc. and present new ideas to the marketing team regularly.
  • Provide social media updates to senior management as requested, i.e., presentation materials, stats, competitive analysis, for internal meetings, etc.
  • Provide support on special creative projects as needed, i.e., ad banners, newsletters, videos, content, etc.
  • Support efforts in live shopping and other various marketing-focused projects as needed.

Who You Are:

Education/Experience:

  • 2+ years of relevant role experience.
  • High School graduate with college, business or technical school degree preferred
  • Proficient within all social media channels
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, illustrator and photoshop, canva
  • Knowledge and experience scheduling posts in social platforms (Dash Hudson experience a plus)
  • Experience working with or editing social video a plus
