What You'll Do as a Social Media Specialist:
This position will challenge a dynamic and creative person to help develop and implement DataVox branding and social media engagement.
- Create engaging and compelling copy for social media posts.
- Possess a keen eye for visual design to enhance content and community engagement.
- Attend on-site meetings and gather content for social media.
- Develop and manage content, including copywriting, social media calendar creation, scheduling, and publishing, while engaging with the community and managing client communications.
- Create monthly reports based on analytics, monitor brand image, and do continuous market research to improve strategies and methods.
- Develop innovative and creative content for various platforms.
- Design and implement effective campaign strategies across multiple online media platforms.
- Measure and analyze the performance of social media campaigns.
- Assist in various aspects of marketing events including trade shows, customer events, golf tournaments, and partner training sessions.
- Create marketing media for customer events.
- Conduct marketing email campaigns for event participation and attendance.
- Track customer participation in events and conduct follow up activities to measure ROI for each event.
- Work with technology partners, distributors, and suppliers to build marketing plans and to utilize their programs to further brand awareness and development.
- Assisting in events on the day of, including welcoming guests, set-up, organizing vendors, tear down, etc.
- Collaborate with the marketing department and add input on potential marketing tactics/ideas.
- Perform other marketing-related duties as assigned.
What You Need as a Social Media Specialist:
- 2+ years of administrative and/or marketing in a corporate environment is required.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related is required.
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365 (Excel specifically) required.
- Experience with various social media platforms and computer-based design applications such as Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Video editing basics for social media and YouTube.
- Experience in Google ads is a plus!
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt to different communication styles.
- Superior organization and time management skills and the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, use hands to touch, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, climb ladders, balance, stand, drive, reach or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
