Social Media Specialist
Job Description
What you will do here:
Day-to-Day community management of all Desert Financial social media channels. Respond to comments, direct messages, tweets, re-tweets, online reviews, etc. in an appropriate and timely manner
Produce video and photo content for social media channels.
Attend credit union events where a live social media presence is needed including branch openings and community events, at times acting as the face of the organization on social media.
Ensure each social media channel is following the specific brand and voice. Support the social media strategy with the guidance of the Social Media Manager.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
What you will need:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or Business; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
3+ years of Social Media, Marketing, Video, and/or Media experience required.
1+ years of experience in Video creation and editing required.
1+ years of experience in Photography and photo editing required.
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.
Experience in brand marketing management including reputation management required.
Experience managing social media including advertising and community management required.
Excellent written and oral communication skills required.
Public speaking experience required.
Must be able to work with little supervision required.
A high level of time management and problem solving skills required.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast paced environment required.
Professional with well-developed interpersonal skills essential to deal courteously and effectively with a diverse group of employees, managers, callers, visitors and vendors. Ability to develop and maintain key business relationships required.
Team player; someone who can initiate tasks alone while also handling spontaneous tasks required.
Ability to produce quality work with tight deadlines required.
Detail oriented with a creative mind required.
Strong organizational skills required.
Ability to collaborate and work in a cross-functional environment required.
Arizona Driver License required.
