Job Responsibilities: What you will do
Plays a key role in managing, measuring and communicating social media programs and their impact on the company. Guides the strategic direction of social engagements across multiple platforms. Mines for social insights and reports findings back to respective department(s).
- Oversees the management of social media communities, including content development, community moderation, crisis management, competitive analysis and on-going strategy.
- Provides creative and strategic content recommendations including best practices, competitive insights and social media trends.
- Plays a key role in managing, measuring and communicating trends that impact the Swift brand and its social media programs.
- Addresses issues thoughtfully and effectively. Identifies online high-risk conversations and areas of concern. Escalates as appropriate.
- Advises recruiting and marketing teams on social media best practices and provides support as needed.
- Proactively generates program or marketing campaigns to address the needs of the community.
- Analyzes online conversations to guide engagement strategy while providing recommendations to others as needed.
- Drives concept development and execution with creative team members. Leverages experience creating, writing, aggregating and analyzing content that engages consumers.
- Produces content that brings to life previously developed strategies to address business, brand, market and user requirements.
- Keeps abreast of industry news, technologies, trends and opportunities. Pilots and implements emerging technologies as appropriate.
- Establishes and champions a positive, vibrant culture within the work group that is consistent with Swift values.
- Coaches for performance by delivering performance-based and developmental feedback.
- Encourages knowledge-sharing, collaboration and best-practice sharing among team members.
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner which facilities the success of business operations in order to meet company demands and expectations.
- Proactively work to assist others in achieving the organization's objectives.

Qualifications: What you need to bring
- 1+ years' experience with a social media analytics platform such as Netbase or similar tool required.
- Transportation industry experience preferred.
- Bachelors in marketing or related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience required.
- Must be able to gather data and draw logical conclusions from in-depth analysis of information.
- Must have an excellent understanding of web strategy.
- Must be able to prepare and deliver compelling arguments and presentations in a way that builds, impacts and influences others and successfully build coalitions for key initiatives.
