The opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Social Media Strategist to join our team at TechnologyAdvice. In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to specialize in our Real Estate or Cybersecurity brands, where you'll lead cutting-edge social media campaigns, manage a Social Media Specialist, and make a significant impact in the world of social media marketing.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, business development, editorial, SEO, and email marketing, to ensure cohesive and aligned campaigns across various platforms. 


What you'll do

  • Collaborate with the Senior Social Media Manager to extract insights, refine content strategies, and enhance community engagement
  • Stay updated with industry trends and competitor activities to inform content decisions
  • Post and manage content on various social media platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, and YouTube
  • Work with the events team, existing content, industry experts, and content producers to craft short-form video content that engages our audience and aligns with our brand messaging
  • Help craft strategy and content that ultimately leads to higher email acquisition, follower engagement, website traffic, and revenue
  • Monitor engagement and performance metrics, making data-driven adjustments to content strategies as needed
  • Manage and foster meaningful connections across all brand interactions and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries promptly
  • Oversee influencer collaborations, identifying and partnering with influencers who align with our brand values and goals
  • Monitor and provide tips and reporting metrics in a designated Slack channel to track the impact of LinkedIn activities and continually improve engagement
  • Oversee and manage one direct report, a Social Media Specialist, providing guidance and support for administrative tasks and content creation
  • Foster a collaborative and growth-oriented work environment, offering mentorship and coaching to enhance the skills and professional development of your team members

Who you are

  • At least 2 years experience in social media management and strategy, preferably in the real estate or cybersecurity industry
  • At least 1 year of management experience is preferred
  • Proficiency in using social media scheduling and analytics tools
  • Strong copywriting and visual design skills
  • Experience in Canva and Adobe Suite applications
  • Ability to utilize AI to enhance content creation and processes
  • Ability to adapt to evolving social media trends and algorithms
  • Strong skill sets in multiple social media strategies including email acquisition, follower engagement, influencer partnerships, and revenue generation
  • Experience in a range of social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube and Pinterest
  • Knowledge of LinkedIn best practices for personal branding is a plus
  • Agile professional who excels in a fast-paced environment and thrives on continuously pivoting strategies to drive business needs forward

Salary Range
TechnologyAdvice seeks to hire top-tier individuals across the world and intends for our compensation to be at a rate that allows us to recruit and retain individuals who align with our core values, purpose, mission, and vision.   
Final total compensation is based on a multitude of factors including, but not limited to, skill level, relevant experience to the position, and cost of labor.
Annual pay range
$58,000—$68,000 USD
