Social Media Summer Intern

We're hiring a Social Media Summer Intern!

The intern program runs from May 15th through August 4th at our Scottsdale, AZ headquarters.

About this position

The Social Media Intern will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to support Ambassador Campaigns, retention strategies, and product education through social media channels.

To empower the success of Plexus' Ambassador community and understand who our customers are, this Intern will need to immerse themselves in our dynamic direct selling channel.

What you'll do

• You coordinate social content to speak effectively through our social communities utilizing a content calendar.
• You create, curate and manage published content for our Plexus Ambassador social communities.
• You work closely with the creative team to help ideate creative campaign ideas that will resonate with our Ambassadors and deliver on objectives.
• You work cross-functionally with departments and the social media team to develop strategic campaigns and evergreen planning for corporate and Ambassador social.
• You monitor trends in Social Media tools, applications, channels, design, and strategy.
• You identify and capitalize on new and emerging social trends to enhance Plexus's social media audience and engagement.

You should have

• You're currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, or a related field preferred.
• You have familiarity with social media, including monitoring tools, applications, and channels.
• You can collaborate with others and thrive in team environments while meeting individual goals and expectations.
• You must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
