As the Social/Paid Media Manager for Pluralsight Flow, your primary responsibilities will include developing and implementing an organic social media strategy, with a focus on increasing our following across the software development community. Additionally, you will analyze and report on our social media presence, and provide support for paid media efforts as necessary. This is an important role that is directly tied to our company objectives which will require collaboration to achieve desired results. We're excited to have you join us!

What you'll own:
Social Media
  • Manage Pluralsight Flow's social media presence on LinkedIn
  • Research and propose additional social media strategy for Pluralsight Flow, including Reddit, Youtube, and other appropriate social media channels
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow social media follower base and improve Flow mindshare within developer teams
  • Analyze and report on all social media efforts, including competitors
  • Develop and maintain social media content calendar
  • Help establish quarterly plans and goals for Social Media channels
  • Work with broader content marketing team to optimize promotional efforts for each social media channel

Paid Media
  • Under the direction of the Senior Paid Media Manager, setup, manage, optimize and maintain campaigns within various Paid Media platforms
  • Create, review, and revise ad copy as needed
  • Proactively monitor, analyze, grow keyword portfolio, and optimize campaigns through ad copy testing, bidding strategies, negative keywords, and other methods
  • Extract data from platforms and tools to provide analysis on various digital channels, measuring key metrics for trend analysis
  • Report results regularly and provide recommendations for optimization
  • Assist in creation and management of content syndication campaigns
  • Help establish quarterly plans and goals owned Paid Media channels
  • Analyze channel-level dashboards to determine opportunities for growth or efficiency

Experience you'll need:
  • Location: Remote; must be willing to work PST or CST hours
  • 2-4+ years of hands-on experience in creating, executing, and managing social media campaigns
  • 2-3+ years experience managing paid media campaigns
  • Ability to work with external vendor partners on establishing and managing both social and paid media campaigns
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing tools and systems including direct experience with LinkedIn, YouTube and other social media platforms.
  • Experience driving full-funnel strategies which align and optimize for cost efficient customer acquisition
  • Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition
  • Experience in using tools/platform such as Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, or LinkedIn Ads is a plus
  • Google Ads Certification or LinkedIn Ads Certification is a plus
  • Marketo and/or Salesforce experience is a plus
