Software Application Engineer

The Role

We’re on the lookout for an Application Engineer to join our Software Team here at ONYX. You’ll be a proficient project manager, be happy to be in customer facing role and ideally with a technical background in Software.

What you’ll do

• Lead the implementation, configuration, customisation, onboarding, and support of ONYX Insights products.
• Configure and customise integrations to 3rd party enterprise software with ONYX Insights applications
• Develop deep domain knowledge by understanding business processes
• Provide daily operational support for several applications by troubleshooting customer issues to identify root causes and solutions, identifying and resolving problems, and designing and implementing configuration changes.
• Provide proactive communication and quick response to production issues and project work.
• Provide advanced demonstrations to potential new customers that showcase product features and their value.
• Identify areas for improvement and partners with Software Engineers/team members to address tactical and strategic issues.

What you’ll have

• Proven experience in a software support role or application engineering role in industrial SaaS applications for more than 2 years. Experience in Energy sector is plus.
• Experience in a customer-facing role such as first-line support or project management.
• Experience in writing scripts/code to transform and ingest large volumes of data
