Software Architect

We are seeking an experienced Software Architect (Hybrid) to join our Internet Strategy team, which is responsible for developing and maintaining a secure, web-based ePortal that enables healthcare providers to complete critical clinical and operational functions. In this senior level role, you will use your technical expertise in design, development, and implementation of enterprise application architecture strategies to lead the workflow automation projects that will shape the future of behavioral healthcare delivery.

As a member of the Internet Strategy team, you will be responsible for the computing architecture components of our application, including the front-end platform, back-end platforms, and the internal managed network. You will also work on the migration of our application to a cloud-based delivery model. In addition to providing technical expertise and recommendations to executive strategic leadership, you will also lead architectural feasibility analyses on potential future projects and oversee the development, maturation, and integration of our current application architecture.

To be successful in this role, you should have Cloud architecture expertise in design, development, and implementation of architecture strategy across various domains and projects. You will also need to be able to manage and evaluate client needs, business processes, and system functional requirements.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide technical expertise and recommendations to executive strategic leadership
• Lead architectural feasibility analyses on potential future projects
• Oversee the development, maturation, and integration of current application architecture
• Assist with the migration of the application to a cloud-based delivery model
• Manage the evaluation and documentation of client needs and business processes
• Design and document system functional requirements
• Lead the deployment of production applications
• Provide ongoing troubleshooting, support, and maintenance of production applications
• Work with technical services and the integration team to design, test, and deploy hardware solutions, connectivity requirements, and interface solutions
• Assist with staff evaluation and development
• Ensure delivery of products and services within budget and targeted delivery date
• Assist with budget and staffing processes
• Define and implement organizational standards within area of expertise
• Promote continuous process improvement (CMMI) on critical project development, deployment, and support processes
• Provide support as required by the company's Disaster Recovery Plan
• Provide strategic leadership related to specific applications, applications integration, and data management

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
• 7+ years of experience as a Software Architect or similar role
• Strong technical expertise in design, development, and implementation of enterprise application architecture strategies
• Cloud architecture expertise in design, development, and implementation of architecture strategy across various domains and projects
• Experience with front-end and back-end platforms, as well as cloud-based delivery models
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience managing and evaluating client needs and business processes
• Experience leading the deployment of production applications
• Experience with continuous process improvement (CMMI) principles
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work on-call as needed to support the company's Disaster Recovery Plan
