Software Architect

In this role you will report to Senior Vice President of Product Development and R&D. With the help of the team of software architects you will be leading all our product software development and architecture. A great architecture leader has a strong technical background, excellent software development skills; with in-depth experience in not only writing great production grade software as a service, but also in architecting large software systems and migrating them to the cloud. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Partner with the product management, software development and operations teams to develop and improve a vision and a roadmap for MedeAnalytics software products like MedeWorks BI Platform, MedeCreate Platform as a Service solution, Patient Access Intelligence workflow-based real-time application and others.
• Define and drive through the implementation of non-functional requirements for new and existing software applications while defining all aspects of development from appropriate technology and workflow to coding standards focusing on the standard architectural -ilities.
• Drive the shift to the micro-services, cloud-native architecture design and DevOps culture.
• Constantly explore the opportunities for the technology advancements and lead development of prototypes and POCs to be used by the development teams+
• Help mentoring teams of software developers, developing best in class systems and processes for producing high quality software that is aligned with key architectural principles and choices

Education, Experience, and Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 1 yr of experience in the following .NET Framework, .NET Core, ASP.NET, C#, Angular, JavaScript and TypeScript, HTML5/CSS, SQL, MongoDB
• Prior experience and familiarity with emerging open source technologies and an ability to work independently with and willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies

Additional Information:

MedeAnalytics believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is $147,500 - $165,000 USD. Please note that actual compensations for all roles may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, relevant work experience, professional achievements/qualifications, skill level, business need, location and will be finalized at the time of offer.
