Software Architect

Merapar is a strong brand within the Media and Entertainment, growing very fast. TV is our first love but we are rapidly expanding into new areas such as IoT, Data Management and Analytics within all kinds of domains.

Being part of our global services business, with a growing Belgian based operation, you will have the opportunity to assist the team in the further development of Merapar as the great place to work it already proves to be and this whilst delivering real and high value to our clients.

As a software Architect you

Will work with our clients and development teams to deliver innovative software in an Agile environment. You will help shape the projects of our clients and the fabric of our company and teams during this exciting and dynamic phase in our journey. You

• Lead the design and delivery of cutting edge distributed software systems
• Build relationships with our clients and teams
• Coach and motivate team members
• Share knowledge 
• Act as a bridge between our development teams and clients
• Design complex integrations and write technical documentation
• Learn new technologies, design patterns and processes and introduce them
  

You have

• Substantial experience as a software architect 
• Hands-on cloud experience (AWS, Google Cloud or Azure)
• The ability to identify and solve problems and work with minimal guidance and direction
• An open-mind and a natural curiosity for new technologies
• Familiarity with Continuous Delivery and Agile methodologies
• Excellent knowledge of Dutch and English (French is a plus)
• Experience in development is an advantage
