Software Automation Test Developer
Job Description
Amentum is hiring a Software Automation Test Developer at our Norfolk, VA location. You are an ideal candidate if you have experience using automation test tools including Telerik Test Studio, Selenium, etc; understand AGILE software development methodologies; and are able to understand and review technical specifications and documentation to implement test processes.
Job responsibilities include:
- Support automated testing processes, including the development of automated test scripts and test data using automation solutions that capture and support the design and operational requirements
- Support the development of automated test cases using parameterized test cases
- Support of the software development life cycle of a medium-to-large scale project including verification and validation of testing process guidance, risk analysis and priority assessment, as well as development of test plans and cases to support application code integration
- Support configuration management tasks of test plans/cases, document control, and the coordination of requirement changes on projects as required
- Support processes to create, modify, and run test plans/cases to certify system functionality and/or changes
- Generate and report various testing artifacts in support of developmental and stakeholder needs
- Support configuration management tasks (test plans/cases, source code control, coordination of requirement changes) on projects as required
- Support the development and maintenance of documentation including test procedures, application reference materials, workflows, and business processes
- Provide and validate estimates for assigned tasks
Minimum Qualifications
- Must have an Active Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a Secret Clearance.
- Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Security+ certification within 6 months of hire.
- Experience developing automated test scripts with parameters (input options).
- Ability to work with business analysts and application developers to understand design and operational requirements and implement suitable testing solutions.
- Thorough knowledge of testing processes and types (Box Approaches, Testing Levels, Testing Types) as well as related web application testing tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in design and developing of automated test scripts with parameters (input options).
- Understanding the Software Development Lifecycle.
- Ability to manage workflow and interface work items with DevOps.
- Experience with application testing management tools.
- Experience with Azure DevOps.
- Current Security+ Certification.
