Software Automation Test Engineer

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting quality assurance automation testing for key USAF mission applications
• Creating automation tests using JavaScript
• Creating and maintaining testing scripts, standards, guidelines and playbooks for accessibility testing and development best-practices
• Documenting bugs and improving overall system performance
• Tracking & reporting repeat non-conformance features or functionality that require solutions for the assigned segments
• Working with Agile development methodologies and attending meetings to help document any discussions, requirements needed follow-up, etc.
• Working with stakeholders to prioritize and select test cases for automation from existing test case documentation and feedback from user communities
• Creating and obtaining approvals for automation test plans
• Configuring Test Environments
• Performing automation framework design and implementation
• Creating, enhancing, running, and debugging test cases
• Managing changes and execute regression tests
• Coordinating with Test and Development teams to resolve issues
• Interacting with the client to solve problems and implement fixes
• Creating defect tracking reports and communicating release status to stakeholders

Desired Qualifications:

• 5+ years’ experience with Automation Scripting
• 2+ years’ experience with Cypress testing framework
• Bachelor’s-level degree in Engineering or a related technical or business field
