Software Automation Test Engineer
Job Description
Dark Wolf Solutions is seeking experienced Software Automation Test Engineers to support the United States Air Force (USAF) Mission Applications at Offutt AFB, to find solutions for automation problems and develops corresponding scripts. This involves identifying test cases for automation, creating automation test plans, and configuring environments. Transform testing into a continuous and efficient end-to-end quality engineering function through the use of quality processes, tools and methodologies significantly improving control, accuracy, and integrity. Evolve more predictive and intelligent testing approaches based on automation and innovative testing products and solutions.

Responsibilities include:
- Conducting quality assurance automation testing for key USAF mission applications
- Creating automation tests using JavaScript
- Creating and maintaining testing scripts, standards, guidelines and playbooks for accessibility testing and development best-practices
- Documenting bugs and improving overall system performance
- Tracking & reporting repeat non-conformance features or functionality that require solutions for the assigned segments
- Working with Agile development methodologies and attending meetings to help document any discussions, requirements needed follow-up, etc.
- Working with stakeholders to prioritize and select test cases for automation from existing test case documentation and feedback from user communities
- Creating and obtaining approvals for automation test plans
- Configuring Test Environments
- Performing automation framework design and implementation
- Creating, enhancing, running, and debugging test cases
- Managing changes and execute regression tests
- Coordinating with Test and Development teams to resolve issues
- Interacting with the client to solve problems and implement fixes
- Creating defect tracking reports and communicating release status to stakeholders
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years’ experience in software development, testing, deployment, and lifecycle maintenance of enterprise grade applications expected
- JavaScript experience is required
- Experience with front-end web application testing via automated tools such as Cypress or Selenium
- Experience with regression testing via automated test tools
- Experience with unit testing, integration testing and performance/stress testing
- Experience with Ansible (or similar) automation tools
- Experience with Agile software development and SDLC practices
- Experience with Jenkins (or similar) and continuous testing
- Bachelor’s degree
- US Citizenship and an active Top Secret security clearance required
Desired Qualifications:
- 5+ years’ experience with Automation Scripting
- 2+ years’ experience with Cypress testing framework
- Bachelor’s-level degree in Engineering or a related technical or business field
