Job Description:

Business Integra is looking for an experienced Software Automation Tester to join a team in Fort Meade, MD. The Engineer will be responsible for end-to-end functional testing for new system releases and to develop automated test scripts using Selenium for the test cases utilized during manual testing. The Engineer will also be responsible for activities associated with delivery of customer-defined systems and software projects; basic responsibilities include:

• The ideal candidate must have background and experience in web application front-end automation, development skills with Java/Python programming languages.
• Provides documentation of any technical support actions taken on test floor while testing is underway.
• Developing and executing software test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Functional, Integration, and Regression, to identify system and software problems.
• Assist with creating metrics to track completion phase, defect reports, defect prevention, development efficiency.
• Supporting Independent User Acceptance Testing in fast-paced environment

Required Skills:

• Experience in creating, enhancing, and executing automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium
• Hands-on experience with one or more scripting languages - Java, Ruby, or Python
• Extensive experience with Eclipse IDE, integrated with TestNG
• Experience in understanding the selenium automation application design and a solid understanding of entire development cycle.
• Experience with API Testing using Postman, SoapUI or ReadyAPI
• Strong experience in manual and automated end-to-end testing of systems and integrated subsystems
• Knowledge of DevSecOps process and Agile Methodology
• Experience with JIRA, Zephyr, and Confluence
• Intermediate familiarity with CI/CD pipeline, GitHub/GitLab and Jenkins
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to collaborate and gather support
• Strong documentation skills - test plans, test cases, test scripts, test concept brief, results brief, meeting minutes
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team

Qualifications:

• Active Secret or Top-Secret Clearance
• Bachelor's Degree (Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management System, or related discipline) and at least 7 years of experience or a Master's degree and at least 5 years of experience
