Software Backend Developer - Cracow Based

We are part of the IBM Automation organisation and in the business of Payments Management. Our applications process commercial and retail transactions and improve insights efficiency scalability visibility and compliance.

Our Payments team develops Business Services and Network Services for the standard SWIFT network. Our software solutions handle 25% of the global SWIFT traffic. The largest banks world-wide run our software solutions.

Your Role and Responsibilities
We are part of a global software development team in the financial sector together with locations in Krakow Dublin and Charlotte.

As Software Developer you will develop software in an agile development team where you help us to support the existing customer base.

You will work together with members of our global team and you will have the chance to get in contact with our banking customers world-wide. We expect from you that you are open for new experiences and challenges that you bring new ideas into our team that you are ready to learn new state-of-the-art technologies and that you have good teaming soft skills.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• At least 6 months experience in Java programming
• At least 6 months experience in / with Linux or AIX or zOS
• English: Fluent
• ABILITY TO WORK IN A 2+3 HYBRID MODEL IN KRAKÓW POLAND

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Master’s Degree in Information Technology
• At least 6 months experience in either WebSphere Application Server or IBM Integration Bus/ACE development
• At least 6 months experience in developing software in an agile development team
• At least 6 months experience in GUI development JavaScript and Dojo
• At least 6 months experience in message flow programming (ESQL)
• At least 6 months experience in DB2 programming (SQL and stored procedures)
• At least 6 months experience in a customer-oriented environment (L2 L3)
• German: Fluent
