Software Configurator

The Omnichannel and Business Services Division Capital Markets Department is a rapidly developing and innovative sector. The Fixed Income team provides Agile end-to-end management of a portfolio of 40 applications (Bloomberg Terminal, Fidessa [ION], BrokerTec, CanDeal, etc.), and is responsible for supporting, maintaining and updating the respective products and modernizing the application portfolio. As a software configurator, you help implement a wide variety of software-related initiatives. You configure, administer, maintain and develop solutions while ensuring stable growth in software use. Plus spécifiquement, vous serez amené(e) à :

Help install and test software. 

• Document workflows to outside suppliers using Confluence. 

• Standardize software applications.

• Provide technical support to users.

• Analyze, diagnose, follow up on and resolve medium- to high-severity system issues.

• Analyze the impacts of infrastructure changes that could impact software applications. 

• Be an active player in software projects.

What you bring to the table

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science

• A minimum of four years of relevant experience in network configuration, Linux or Windows server administration, or any other relevant experience

• Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered

• Experience working with software packages

• Knowledge of French is required

• Intermediate knowledge of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies

• Knowledge of supplier management

• Knowledge of supplier application management

• Knowledge of incident, service inquiry and change management

• Knowledge of job scheduling (Control-M, AutoSys) 

• Knowledge of SFTP (e.g., MFT) 

• Available to provide paid 24/7 on-call expert service, on rotation
