Software Design Engineer 3

Job Summary: Senior Engineer responsible for coordinating development activities between customer requirements and game development Scrum teams that is developing the next generation collective training software system. Ability to apply infantry subject matter expertise to guide development activities.

Essential Job Functions:

• Create and manage epics, stories, and tasks captured in tracking tools to coordinate the activities for game development.
• Experience with Scrum agile development.
• Coordinate with customer stakeholders.
• Support test activities locally and at site.
• Software is developed in an Agile DevSecOps environment.

Required Education/Experience:

• Experience with Atlassian Jira tool
• Infantry experience
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Must have experience working both independently and as a member of a software development team.

Other Requirements: Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires U. S. Citizenship status with ability to obtain a SECRET to TOP SECRET security clearance. Security Clearance requirements will be specified in the Government's Task Order.

Position requires COVID 19 full vaccination or willingness to test as required by the customer; testing is at the cost of the individual.
