We are looking for a Software Engineer to focus on our Fieldpoint brand. Fieldpoint is a developer of field service software. Our specialized integration with CRM, ERP and accounting systems provides our customers with enterprise visibility while streamlining sales and service operations. With over 25 years of experience, hundreds of valued customers in several verticals, and a solid network of reselling partners, Fieldpoint enables service organizations to run leaner, smarter and more profitably.

Full-Stack Web Application Developer

Responsibilities:

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Design, write, maintain, improve, and test our web applications and ERP Integrations.
• Assist our customer support team by providing explanations and resolutions to complex problems reported by our users.
• Effectively contribute suggestions and new ideas to enhance performance and usability.
• Research and develop new solutions using new technologies to enhance our existing software applications.
• Report to a Team Leader and/or Development Manager.
• Willingly take on other tasks as required.

Required Experience and Skills
Must haves:

• Degree or diploma in Computer Science/related field OR equivalent work experience
• Minimum 5 years experience delivering scalable software solutions
• Proficiency in C#, .NET, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, ASP.Net, and SQL
• Ability to learn quickly.
• A strong understanding of HTTP, SOAP and RESTful API design and construction
• Experience with large scale 3rd party integrations
• Comfortable working at a small, dynamic company
• Can translate business goals into actionable work assignments with minimal direction.
• Use best practices to document and write quality software, with a commitment to standardization and predictability.
• Effective presentation and documentation skills.
• Encourages and accepts personal feedback.

Nice to haves:

• Web technologies such as: Angular and SPA architecture.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Desire to debate and explore new technologies.
• Experience with version control software and processes
• Experience with Windows Servers & Services including IIS & MS SQL Server
• Experience working with Docker/AWS environment.

Where: Hybrid, Toronto, ON
The EverCommerce team is distributed globally, with teams in the U.S., Canada, Jordan, New Zealand, and Australia. We are looking for someone who is preferably close to one of our GTA offices. Please note that you must be eligible to work without sponsorship to qualify for this position, and this role may require limited travel to our Corporate Headquarters in Denver, Colorado, or to other office locations around North America.

Compensation: The compensation for this position is $95,000 to $120,000 CAD per year. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including location, local market variances, and candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
