Maven Wave Partners LLC seeks Software Developer in Chicago, IL.

Duties: Perform Agile-Scrum based development services. Utilize Agile-enabling concepts such as Continuous Integration, TDD, and Extreme Programming. Perform development services using standard development tools such as Eclipse, Subversion, Maven, Bamboo, and Clover. Provide deployment services using tools such as Chef and Docker. Provide database development services using SQL programming, relational database technologies, and logical and physical data modeling. Provide client services utilizing Object Oriented principles and design patterns, and SOLID principles, particularly Dependency Injection. Telecommuting permitted during Covid-19. Up to 60% travel required to US client sites.

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Computer Engineering or related fields plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or related roles.

Requires any amount of experience with the following skills:

• Using Agile to enable concepts including Continuous Integration, TDD, and Extreme Programming;
• Using tools for building and managing Java-based projects;
• J2EE;
• Familiarity with Java unit testing; and
• End-to-end understanding of software development methodologies and tool chains including several of the following: Java, .Net, C#, PHP, Python, Spring.
