Overview
Part D Advisosrs (PDA), an Accretive Global Company, is adding a Software Developer to our team! As a Software Developer, you will be responsible in the on-going development of PDA's proprietary software systems. Ensures that proprietary systems are always secure and properly implements HIPAA required security. Ensures that our software and tools are functioning very effectively and efficiently to ensure that we meet our project deadlines, and that the membership support services we provide to our clients and their members are easy for them to understand and utilize. Exercises good software development practices.
What You'll Do
- Responsible for software development for DEV (Dependent Eligibility Verification) and RDS(Retiree Drug Subsidy) software and features and other enrollment-related applications such as the Routine Enrollment Management (REM) Portal and Routine Eligibility Verification (REV) Portal.
- Strong understanding and consistent application of security and HIPAA compliance measures.
- Organizes and manages development tasks through JIRA ticketing system following an agile methodology.
- Develops and supports tools for organizing and examining numerous discrete data sets from eligibility files with defined fields and minimal information requirements.
- Responsible for establishing and maintaining individuals' ability to access and use web-based applications from consumer devices with common web browsers including Service Level Agreement (SLA) requirements.
- Ensures that data security and encryption is always maintained for all DEV proprietary software and any third-party solutions utilized as part of the DEV software suite.
- Performs other duties as assigned or as business needs are changed or expanded.

What You'll Need
- BA/BS in technical or business-related field
- Three or more years of relevant experience in software development, technical writing skills and network administration.
- Two or more years of relevant experience in web-based applications from design to implementation and into ongoing
- Minimum three years in a related field demonstrating progressively responsible experience in handling a large amount of workload with minimum
- Experience with Agile
- Healthcare and/or Prescription Drug Administration experience
Additional skills required
- Experience using SQL programming language for managing data held in a relational database management system (RDBMS) such as SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL.
- Experience with HTML, JavaScript, C#, ASP.NET (MVC or CORE).
- Experience with TensorFlow or similar machine learning platforms.
- Experience with IIS and management of customer facing web portals.
- Demonstrated software development skill sets, including data management and logic skills, ability to proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Provides effective communication skills, and the demonstrated ability to resolve customer and vendor issues quickly, and to have positive interactions with all workforce members and external contacts.
- Ability to create clear and concise end user documentation
- Ability to create effective code documentation
- Familiarity with Jira and Kanban methodology for workload management
