Software Developer

Job Description

Crown is looking for a Software Developer to support a Government client in the implementation of the Electronic Information Display System (E-IDS) in the National Airspace System.

Responsibilities include:

• Applies computer science and systems analysis knowledge, concepts and techniques to develop and apply solutions to E-IDS needs.
• Uses scientific and engineering logic to create conceptual and theoretical solutions to problems of computer hardware, software and operation.
• Develops alternative approaches to design, test and evaluation techniques, evaluates and recommends the optimum solutions, while balancing specific project needs with economic constraints.
• Formulates architectural designs, functional specifications, interfaces for computer system, while considering system interrelationships, operating modes, and equipment configurations. 

Qualifications

• B.S in Engineering / Software Development / Computer Sciences/ Information Technology or M.S in Software Engineering / Software Development / Computer Sciences preferred
• Expert-level experience in integrating GlusterFS into an enterprise system environment
• Expert-level experience with container development using Docker.
• Excellent hands-on experience of: Angular 11+, PrimeNG, Java, Mongo DB, JEE, Spring, Postgres SQL
• Excellent hands-on experience of: Amazon EC2, Amazon RDS, Elastic Load Balancer, EBS, S3, etc. 
• Strong working knowledge of rest services environments such as RESTful APIs and JSON
