In its 19th year of operations, Leader Bank exceeded $3 Billion in assets, 400+ employees, and annual mortgage originations of over $5 Billion.  We are seeking an innovative-driven and energetic team player to join our Software Development Team.   The candidate shall have a solid working knowledge in software and application development.  

Summary:

The Software Developer is a part of the Bank’s Technology Development Team and is responsible for the Bank’s software development projects to meet the new stage of the Bank’s digitalization and automation initiatives.  The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years related working experience in software development and/or a MS degree in Computer Science (or related academic study).  

Responsibilities include:

• Work on a complex technical development, prototypes/proof of concepts under the direction of CTO and the VP of Enterprise Application & Automation Enablement
• Design and build the best of class resilient solutions using universally accepted programming practices 
• Be a strong team player
• Closely work with the VP of Enterprise Application & Automation Enablement, and the Director of Project Management to influence the product roadmap for building new features and functionality based on market trends and help the platform stay competitive in the market
• Willingness to learn and pick up new technologies when requested 
• Abided by the Bank’s best programming practices, coding standards, and design patterns. Enforce development patterns and best practices through mentorship, code, and design reviews

Qualifications:

• MS in Computer Science or Engineering, or related field, or significant equivalent experience
• Experience with Java, JavaScript, Docker containers, and Git
• Good working knowledge as a Full Stack Developer or similar role
• Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, jQuery)
• Familiarity with databases, design ability, Server, Working with API, version control systems, CI/CD
• Good knowledge of Object-Oriented programming, methodologies, and fundamental concepts. 
• Well-built Troubleshooting and debugging skills
• Writing functional and clean code in front and back end
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Proficient with MVC, Entity Framework, N-tier solutions.
• Proficient with SQL Server - Database design T-SQL queries and stored procedures
• Design and Develop web pages, web applications, and web services.
• Develop other interfaces to various applications, depending on the platform of interfacing application.
• Experience in API design and development is highly desired
• An interest in keeping up-to-date on emerging technologies
• The ability to quickly adapt to changes or learn new platforms
• Natural problem-solving ability
• Detail-oriented, even when faced with multiple deadlines on multiple projects
• A desire to work with and contribute to an energetic and engaged team of technology

Skills:

• Ability to solve complex logics and process problems 
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Strong understanding of next generation technology and always stay on top
• Excellent interpersonal and exceptional communicator 
• Knowledge of DevOps and cloud infrastructure services (AWS preferred)
• Ability to manage competing priorities with minimal supervisory input
• Experience with service-oriented architecture (SOA), Microservices architecture, data modeling, systems, and database designs
• Ability to identify opportunities and challenges with a constant evaluation to foster innovation to mitigate impediments and drive success
• Exceptionally strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work with all levels of the organization
• Thrive in fast-paced, agile environments, and able to learn new areas quickly
• Prior Banking and Fintech Institution project experience a plus 
• Knowledge in crypto, blockchain, AI/BI a plus
• Development + Security + Operations (DevSecOps) experience a plus
