Software Developer

Job Description:

The Software Developer creates scalable, robust, and simple desktop and/or web solutions to solve complex business problems. The Software Developer designs, develops, debugs, tests, and implements software features/enhancements as well as corrects defects in existing applications and reports.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Web application development (including GUI design)
• Produce efficient, clean, and well-commented code
• Analyze, design, develop, test, and implement applications and databases
• Work closely with other teams, developers, and Senior Management to build new features and applications
• Work with all User Interface, Application, and Database-related issues

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
• Experience in Object Oriented programming language (C# preferred)
• SQL/database experience
• Competency in developing modules independently
• Excellent written and verbal abilities-both written and oral
• Ability to evaluate complex problems and arrive at a resolution
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Web application experience
• Excellent interface design skills
• Experience with both web and desktop applications
• Full software development life cycle
• Experience with WPF
• Strong back-end development
• Ability to explain complex technical information
• Understanding of basic accounting concepts
