As a Software Developer, you will fill a crucial role in the development of innovative software solutions supporting our industry leading professional medical billing and coding Departments and the many Clients we serve.

Your responsibilities will include working with key company stakeholders and customers to design and build process workflows, Microsoft based applications and third party application integrations, and to support all IT processes, development activities, and application life cycles.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements, goals, and timelines

• Design, develop, implement, and support C# console applications and related data stacks supporting a wide range of data interactions and data transformations

• Design, develop, implement, and support PowerShell scripts to perform a wide range of workflows and services

• Design, develop, implement, and support Microsoft SQL Stored Procedures and related processes

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or commensurate experience

• Professional experience developing Microsoft C# Console applications

• Professional experience developing Microsoft PowerShell applications

• Professional experience using SQL Server to build Stored Procedures, Tables, data schemas

• Professional experience implementing Microsoft Entity Framework and LINQ in applications

• Experience with Bitbucket Code Repositories

• Experience in ASP.NET or other Web APIs and related technology is a plus

• Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., Azure) is a plus

• Experience with electronic medical records or other healthcare related information systems (Ex. HL7 Standards) is a plus

• Experience coding solution for medical coding taxonomies used in healthcare billing and electronic medical records, such as patient demographic information, ICD-10 codes, Professional billing codes, is a plus

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results in a timely manner

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with electronic medical records or other healthcare related information systems, ideally HL7 Standards

• Familiar with medical coding taxonomies used in healthcare billing and electronic medical records, such as ICD-10 codes, CPT-4 codes, MS DRGs, SNOMED, LOINC, RxNorm

• Education or aptitude for applied mathematics

• Experience in working with PHI/HIPPA data

• Sisense experience is a plus

• Azure and Azure Devops

• 7+ years of experience

This position is open to remote work. Our office is located in Newport, Kentucky
