The Role

This developer works as a member of the Feature-Cloud development team responsible for developing and maintaining cloud enable EnterpriseRMS software.

Job Duties Include:

  • Porting current code base to containerized cloud enabled architecture
  • Maintain current cloud enabled architecture
  • Work with team to trouble shoot and diagnose current client cloud deployments
  • Assist in preparing new software versions for cloud deployment
  • Design, write, edit, modify, and debug new features for EnterpriseRMS
  • Prepare for, attend, and participate in all agile scrum meetings
  • Communicate with and conduct software demonstrations for internal and external customers
  • Research and present new ideas, technologies, and concepts to the team
  • Use their excellent understanding of product framework and infrastructure to make recommendations for improvement
  • Make suggestions for foundation object changes and develop new objects to include in foundation classes
  • Proactively select Product Backlog Items and commit to a timely delivery
  • Engage in code reviews
  • Recognize refactoring opportunities and technical debt issues to bring to the Product Owner
  • Develop and maintain Automation test scripts
  • Perform peer testing of functional changes
  • Design and write unit tests
  • Participate in creating coding standards, best practices documentation, and quality release notes
  • Help team to define and adhere to processes around team agreements, schedule, and rules of engagement while holding them accountable to act on retrospective action items
  • Become a source of technical knowledge (Subject Matter Expert) for other team members

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar, or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of professional development experience, including working in an Agile/Scrum environment
  • Knowledge of Scrum values, principles, and practices
  • Understanding of software architecture, principles, and common design patterns
  • Knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Knowledge of Cloud Containerization principles
  • Understanding of Kubernetes
  • Understanding of Helm for cloud deployments
  • Knowledge of C# as a programming language
  • Proficient in writing efficient SQL queries and analyzing them for performance optimization
  • Proficient in writing unit tests for validations and calculations in functions/methods
  • Comprehensive knowledge of unit test mocking and can apply mocking concepts to improve unit test quality and performance
  • Self-starter who can work independently in a self-managed team environment
