Software Developer - Azure, DotNet, RESTful Services

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Design and implement custom SQL queries, scripts, and stored procedures to support application requirements.
• Develop and maintain robust APIs that support UI and backend functionality that performs document search and data retrieval, upload, download, folder creation, etc. and publishing functionality.
• Support the creation and maintenance of restful APIs to offer consuming APIs seamless connection to OpenText Content Server and other application functions enabling smooth data flow and interoperability.
• Analyze system requirements and prepare technical specifications.
• Engage in the design, coding, testing, and documentation of software solutions across diverse platforms and operating systems.
• Independently identify, analyze, and resolve application issues, employing effective troubleshooting techniques to enhance system reliability and performance.
• Assist in defining software application specifications and making modifications to existing systems to meet evolving business needs and technological advancements.
• Support the creation of APIM products and subscription management for consuming APIs for use of Rest API authentication and functionality.
• Setup insight monitoring of APIM products for Azure Dashboard Monitoring publishing.
• Independently analyzes and isolates the application issues and performs problem resolution
• Evaluates supplied software products and applications for the purpose of understanding capabilities and reporting bugs and other compatibility issues.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, along with six years of relevant experience in software development and a strong technical knowledge of programming languages.
• Proficiency in Azure, GitHub, Azure SQL, SQL Server, .NET, API design, and RESTful services.
• Experience with DevOps practices and Agile methodologies, enhancing project efficiency and collaboration.
• Proven ability to integrate complex systems and support application collaborations within development teams.
• Demonstrated competence in managing and leveraging the Azure environment effectively.
• Understanding of business strategies and user expectations, with experience in training developers and maintaining documentation for new or modified applications.
• Familiarity with automated testing, including unit testing and test-driven development, as well as QA automation principles.
• Proficient in debugging and using tools like Postman for testing applications.
