We are seeking a skilled back-end developer to join our IBM Software team. As part of our team you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality software products working with a variety of technologies and programming languages.

Your Role and Responsibilities

• As a key member of our dynamic team you will play a vital role in crafting exceptional software experiences. Your responsibilities will encompass the design and implementation of innovative features fine-tuning and sustaining existing code for optimal performance and guaranteeing top-notch quality through rigorous testing and debugging. Collaboration is at the heart of what we do and you’ll be working closely with fellow developers designers and product managers to ensure our software aligns seamlessly with user expectations.
• DataPower gateways are used by many of the world’s largest companies including banks airlines and insurance providers. As part of the DataPower gateway software engineering team you will be responsible for ensuring that every version of the product that is released exceeds the high level of quality that our customers demand. You will be responsible for development of DataPower gateway container technologies which will include both multi-protocol and API gateway capabilities
• Software Development Expertise:
• Strong background in software development demonstrating expertise in programming languages such as C C++

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 3-5 years of experience.
• Programming efficiency : C++ programming experience specifically in the development of network gateways or network routers (embedded firmware or stand alone software). Experience with data structures and software design
• Software Developer Industry Experience: Proven industry experience as a software developer demonstrating expertise in designing and implementing software solutions.
• Operating System Concepts : Strong understanding of operating system concepts and expsoure to Linux. CentOS experience would be a plus.
• Virtualization: Strong understanding virtualization showcasing proficiency in the foundational aspects of software development.
• Experience with Kubernetes Docker would be a plus
