YPrime’s IRT Delivery team is looking for a Software Developer I to help us shape the vision and roadmap of innovative software products that fuel clinical trials. You'll be based remotely or in our Malvern, PA or Raleigh, NC office. At YPrime, we help our clients in the pharma and biotech industries to collect data from patients using mobile devices, assign patients to study treatment groups, and dispense clinical trial drugs and supplies using web apps. We’re supporting life-altering research, one project at a time.
Here are some more details about the job:
- Developing and maintaining complex applications using C#, .NET, Xamarin, SQL Server, JavaScript, RESTFul APIs, MVC, and MVVM architecture
- Being conversant across front and back-end development to make modifications and enhancements across all aspects of the system
- Developing software systems that are reliable, maintainable, and efficient, with emphasis on patient safety and integrity of clinical study data
- Work within and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, deliver, and support technical solutions
- Reproducing minor software bugs, implementing fixes, and providing clear and concise responses to tasks assigned during core hours
- Bringing a passion to stay on top of new technologies trends
- Recognizing when timelines are at jeopardy and knowing when to ask for help
- Reviewing user requirements specifications and verifying that all requirements can be implemented in the required timeframe
- Participating in the product research and development process by providing the engineering team with new solutions and ideas based on project experience
- Ongoing interaction with project managers and testing on application usability, features and performance
- Assisting with the creation of implementation design and technical design documentation
- Assisting the support team with troubleshooting and resolution of issues reported on production systems
- Continuously improve software engineering practices

- Associate degree, Bachelor or higher (in computer science), or equivalent experience is preferred
- Minimum 1-year experience with C#, .NET, JavaScript, and SQL Server (2008,2012,2014) is preferred
- Test Driven Development (TDD) and Unit Testing experience is preferred
- Working understanding of Web-Services technology, Model View Controller (MVC), and Entity Framework (EF) principles is preferred
- Working understanding of Visual Studios Team Services is preferred
- Â Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment is preferred
- Â Experience with .NET Core, Xamarin, Angular, JQuery, MOQ, and Bootstrap is considered a plus
