Software Developer II
Job Description
- Software Developer II will manage Microsoft O360 as well as supporting common email applications
- Manage security concerning operating system solutions by following industry standard best practices under the guidance of the System Engineers
- Administer and maintain end user accounts, permissions, and access rights
- Perform server and network device audits
- Perform system backups and recovery
- Setup, configure, support, monitor Internal LAN/WAN
- Monitor and test network performance and provide network performance statistics and reports
- Recommend, schedule, and perform network improvements, upgrades, repairs, and new applications
- Troubleshoot problems
- Schedule installations and upgrades and maintain them in accordance with established policies, procedures and SLAs
- Support AD, Cisco, VMware, AWS (Amazon Web Services) and oversees system securities
- Software Developer II will maintain appropriate documentation on the AD, Linux, Xen, KVM, VMware, and CISCO environment
- Embark in new technology solution projects, provide technical support and guidance to users, has knowledge of commonly-uses concepts, practices and procedures
- Work with Network team to define the appropriate standards, policies and procedures
- Actively manage relationships with and serve as liaison with external technical support with customers and vendors

What You Bring to the Table
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field a plus
- Familiar with configuration and usage of Linux operating systems (required)
- Experience in AWS Cloud Computing (preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years' field experience as Software Developer required
- Experience with E-mail archiving and Antispam software, VMWare, Xen, and KVM.
- Experience in Microsoft Windows 2016 Active Directory
- Experience with various Backup and Recovery solutions, including veeam
- Experience with management of Microsoft AD (Active Directory) and group policies configuration
- Experience with various Hypervisors including VMware, XCP-NG, XEN, etc.
- Previous experience with Load Balancing technologies including Kemp Load Balancers and HA Proxy
- Previous experience with cisco routers and switches a plus
