Job Description
Experienced technical resource who works with development leads and other senior developers to design and implement features and functionality for a project. Researches new technologies looking for trends and opportunities to creatively support the needs of the business. In emergency situations, Software Developer II's diagnose problems and provide quick solutions. Effectively communicates with project managers, architects, development teams, and line of business representatives within the company to provide transparency and properly manage expectations.

How You'll Spend Your Time
Education & Experience Requirements
This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related field and 2+ years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Technology certifications are preferred. It is also preferred that the candidate have B anking and Financial Service experience.
2+ years of application development experience as well as the following:
Required:
Well versed in modern JavaScript and HTML 5
Strong working knowledge of a JavaScript framework such as Angular, React, Vue, etc.
Understands agile methodology
Strong CSS skills, and experience working with CSS pre-compilers like SASS, LESS
Familiar with utility-first CSS fundamentals
Familiar with BEM
Familiar with version control (Git, etc)
Understands build pipelines like gulp, Webpack, etc
Nice to Have:
Some knowledge of UX principles and design thinking
Background involving design systems and any contribution or development for them
Experience in creating wireframes and user flows
Understands accessibility compliance in development

How You'll Spend Your Time
- You will use development best practices to program, develop, and execute on solutions for projects.
- You will build relationships and form partnerships across the bank.
- You will diagnose and solve problems and provide quick solutions independently.
- You will design features and functionality for assigned projects.
- You will code from scratch and debug other s' work.
Education & Experience Requirements
