We’re looking for a motivated and skilled intermediate full-stack developer to join our Lightspeed Hospitality Team in EMEA. You will work in a small agile team on two large-scaled projects that will have a tremendous impact on the daily life of thousands of customers all over the world and help bring local communities to life.

As an intermediate full-stack developer you’ll be working closely together with our Product Managers, Designers, other Developers and our Support team in order to provide tailored and innovative solutions for the market.

What you’ll be doing:

• Developing clean and highly maintainable code
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across the full stack
• Extending your own skills by learning from and growing with the team
• Act as an advocate for the highest code quality and ownership, while contributing to the health of the infrastructure
• Be part of the product evolution from a technical standpoint

What you need to bring:

• Experience developing and shipping production-grade SaaS-based software
• Experience with frontend (Javascript/Typescript, React/Angular) and backend (Java) technologies
• Experience writing automated unit and functional tests
• Ownership for your features and systems throughout the software development lifecycle and beyond
• Solid foundation in computer science
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a small team environment.
• Ability to analyze production environments, incidents, and performance characteristics in order to improve existing systems and plan new ones
• Energy and drive! 

Even better if you have, but not necessary

• Experience working with microservices and monolith decomposition
• Familiarity with modern cloud infrastructures
• A keen interest in API design
