Software Developer II - SSIS // ETL

Purpose Statement: The Software Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing new or modified software products for ongoing business projects. They collaborate closely with various teams and stakeholders, including Architects, Analysts, Project Managers, and other developers, to ensure software projects meet requirements.
This Software Developer role plays a critical part in the development and enhancement of software applications to meet business needs and support continuous improvement within the organization.

Key Job Accountabilities:

• Collaboration: Actively collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize and develop or enhance software applications, ensuring adherence to project requirements, best practices, and business objectives.
• Software Development: Research, design, write, test, and implement high-performing code for software applications, ensuring they meet project requirements, coding standards and best practices
• Documentation: Prepare and maintain project documentation, including design and unit test documents, with a preference for UML proficiency.
• Testing and Quality Assurance: Participate in testing and quality assurance activities, including code reviews, unit testing, and bug identification. Help ensure software meets quality standards.
• Innovation and Research: Stay updated on emerging software development technologies and best practices, actively seeking opportunities and contributing ideas to improve development processes and efficiency.

Education/Experience Qualifications:

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Three (3) years of related experience is required.

Experience Qualifications

• Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle, clear understanding of Change Management process, and some experience with AGILE methodologies
• Design data object models that provide a common structure for new or existing applications
• Design and Develop interfaces of all integrations for systems
• Design architecture for medium-high complexity systems

Technical Skills

• +3 years of hands-on experience in Software Development in Client / Client-Server, Enterprise Application Integration, Object-Oriented / Service-Oriented.
• SQL - Server Integration Services (SSIS)
• Boomi
• Biztalk
• ETL

Physical Requirements:

• Professional office environment with suitable lighting, comfortable temperatures, and low noise level. May require prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, using a computer, and other office equipment. Minimal physical activity is generally involved, emphasizing the importance of good posture and ergonomic workplace arrangements.
