Software Developer Intern
Buffalo Grove, IL or Remote
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Internship program dates: June 2 - August 11, 2023
We're seeking a bright, highly motivated student to join CSC Corptax as a Developer Intern in our Buffalo Grove, IL office. This program gives current college students the opportunity to grow their technical skills and work in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
Our Developer Intern will develop features and unit tests for existing applications, including changes to ensure application builds fail if unit test fails.
Some of the things you'll learn from us:

• Understand Corptax line of business and the opportunity to know more about Corptax culture.
• Gain experience in C#, React, MVC, application builds, automated test suites and workflows, and Agile development process
• Understand the landscape and architecture of Corptax's products.

What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do I need?

• Currently attending college, university, or a similar training program
• Graduating or ready for full-time employment within 12 months of August 2023
• Coursework and/or experience in Object Oriented principles and techniques, Design Patterns, etc.
• Coursework and/or experience in C# programming language or similar languages
• Coursework and/or experience in Javascript programming language or similar languages
• Basic understanding of coding principles, code quality, and unit testing
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong technical aptitude and desire to learn
• Ability to learn in a fast-paced, agile environment
