BlackBerry Cybersecurity Business Unit delivers industry-leading cybersecurity products and solutions. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a highly skilled team and participate in all aspects of the software development process. The development activities are focused on cloud-based microservices and user interfaces deployed on leading cloud platforms.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participate in the development of software solutions to address new requirements.
• Write code to fulfill new requirement or fix bugs
• Produce design and API documentation as needed.
• Participate in design discussions and troubleshooting sessions
• Collaborate and coordinate with team members and solve problems together

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Currently enrolled in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Software Engineering program.
• Strong programming skills, preferably C# and JavaScript
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-starter and organized.
• Ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently.

ADDITIONAL ASSETS

• Knowledge of or experience in React
• Knowledge of or experience in cloud systems such as AWS
